well this is one of my latest paintings

the fact that I just hit the 12000 post mark on here kinda scares me

the amount of ideas that always pop up in my mind after 3am make it always the perfect time to work on my art

kristelrigaud:

just trying some ideas…

well this is one of the projects I’m currently working on
this was the majority of my night

Life summed up for the ones who merely drift through it in contrast with the ones who actually live it. It’s the constant anticipation of events, participating in them and then longing for more. When those start to dull down you start longing for better, until the replacements loose their touch too and get worn down to the old ones level. To find that drive again to find something better to break this repetitiveness, well that’s thing it takes a while.

Emotionally numb skill acquired.
This is quite an accomplishment compared to a few years ago, but I’m not too sure if I like myself like this…

And we’ll drink ourselves away

Dive into the pool of oblivion & embrace it

Intervention: Episode 3 | IBB
As the start of it’s Junior / Senior exchange IBB made a trip to Barbados to visit the local art scene and teach at the Barbados Community College. IBB founders Tirzo Martha and David Bade, artist in residence Erik Habets, together with students Rashid, Dominic and Kristel traveled for a week to the island and made valuable connections with the art community there.
